Built by a Certified Industrial Hygienist with 25+ years of field experience
In 2010, when the iPhone changed what was possible on mobile devices, I saw an opportunity: what if industrial hygienists could do initial field assessments with a device they already carry?
I had a clear vision for what that should look like. But vision without execution is just a daydream. For 15 years, I waited for three things: modern coding tools, AI assistance, and the right personal circumstances to actually build it.
In 2025, all three aligned. A government shutdown gave me the time to finally invest in learning modern development. I spent months building, iterating, and crafting apps that reflect 25 years of field experience in industrial hygiene.
For 20 years, I served as an Industrial Hygiene Officer in the U.S. Navy Medical Service Corps. I started straight out of the University of Georgia with a degree in Environmental Health Science, and immediately experienced operational field work that shaped everything I build today.
I deployed twice on the USS Carl Vinson, including during Operation Enduring Freedom when we launched the first strikes in Afghanistan. Later, I deployed on the ground with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing to Al Asad, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
That operational background taught me something most software makers never learn: the best tools are the ones that work with minimal equipment, require no internet, and don't slow you down in the field.
After the Navy, I was the Lead Industrial Hygienist at Amtrak, managing occupational health for a major national employer, and then returned to federal service where I continue practicing industrial hygiene and safety.
I'm not building these apps to chase venture funding or achieve hypergrowth. I'm building them because solo IH consultants, small consulting firms, and safety managers at mid-size facilities deserve professional tools — not spreadsheets, not paper notes, and not bloated enterprise software that costs a fortune.
My credentials are real. My field experience is real. My commitment to giving back to the community — especially veterans — is real.
