Both apps support CloudKit synchronization. Your jokes, setlists, gig records, and all data are securely synced across your Apple devices automatically.
Jokesmith uses on-device machine learning to analyze your performance recordings and identify audience laughter. All audio processing happens locally on your device — recordings are never sent to our servers.
Night Watch is a lone worker safety system for late-night gigs. Set a check-in timer before your gig. If you don't check in by the timer, your designated emergency contacts are notified with your last known location. Remember: Night Watch supplements but does not replace personal safety awareness.
Riffsmith offers three AI modes: Off (scripted local scenes), On-Device (Apple Intelligence for offline coaching when available), and Enhanced (cloud AI routing scene work to Claude Haiku and coaching to Claude Sonnet). Enhanced mode requires internet. All scene data stays on your device in Off and On-Device modes.
Veteran and military discounts are honored on an honor-system basis. Discounted pricing is available directly in the App Store.
Yes! All apps work offline for core functionality. Changes sync automatically when you're back online. Weather features in Gigsmith and Enhanced AI in Riffsmith require internet.
Absolutely. Your jokes, setlists, and recordings are encrypted and never shared with third parties. ML processing in Jokesmith and scene processing in Riffsmith's On-Device mode happen on-device. See our Privacy Policy.

Make sure microphone permission is granted (Settings > Jokesmith > Microphone). Position your phone where it can pick up both your voice and audience reactions. Avoid placing it in a pocket or bag during recording.
Manage subscriptions via App Store > Profile > Subscriptions. Refund requests are handled by Apple directly.
